A Showcase of Innovations Serving Communities
The salon des Maires et des Collectivités (SMCL) is an annual event in Paris that brings together over 60,000 local decision-makers and their partners from across France.
A must-attend occasion for the teams from VINCI Construction’s Roadworks division, who made their mark this year with a custom-designed 130 m² stand. This space masterfully combined information, interactivity, and conviviality.
Designed to provide an instant understanding of the roadworks expertise, this remarkable architectural creation stood out for its:
- High, easily visible signage,
- Seamless ergonomics, ensuring natural flow,
- Original and elegant design.
A showcase that highlighted the latest innovations in roadworks, it also presented, for the first time, the expertise of the Signastore and Signature subsidiaries in road equipment, alongside Orizome®—a groundbreaking range of vegetative soil aimed at reducing soil impermeability to combat flooding and foster new urban green spaces.

FG Design’s Creative Solution
SMCL is an event where high-quality client engagement is paramount, and the reception space needed to reflect that.
The brief was perfectly understood by our design/project teams, resulting in a longitudinal stand open on three sides that harmoniously balanced communication and hospitality.
The stand’s features included:
- Airy, well-proportioned volumes,
- A subtle division between the commercial and hospitality areas,
- Creative, readable signage on walls and floors,
- Digital communication tools to enrich visitor experiences.
The reception area was carefully designed with a wide range of seating options, including plant-filled alcoves that offered both comfort and privacy.
A long-standing collaboration with Groupe FG Design reassures us and allows us to approach each edition with a fresh, creative dynamic—while staying true to our brand and values.”
